I am Michael, I'm an enthusiastic polyglot (currently at 6 languages), a software developer at Normalized Systems, the developer of Conjugador (a Spanish verb conjugation app - now defunct), and an amateur pianist.
I obtained my PhD in Computer Science in 2011 at the University of Antwerp, Belgium, in the field of Data Mining. I used to be a postdoctoral researcher at Utrecht University/Leiden University in the Netherlands, later at the University of Bonn, Germany, and after that worked as a consultant. I'm currently employed as a software developer and have started my own small business.
On this site you will find my curriculum vitae, a list of academic publications and some useful links.
